  Inside Islam Launched

A grant from the national Social Science Research Council (SSRC) has allowed UW-Madison and Here on Earth to launch special radio, blog and web programs on Islam and Muslims around the world. We're all really excited about this Here on Earth new media series. It's called Inside Islam: Dialogues and Debates.

The latest program in the series, Young Muslims and New Media, was aired on Oct. 29 Wednesday. Way beyond Al Jazeera, the expansion of open media in the Arab world is changing the socio-political landscape of the region in dramatic ways. Jean talked to journalist Reza Aslan and others about how young Muslims are using new media.
